Shadows of the Moon

I took these photos during the recent Super Worm Equinox Moon event (I swear they’re just making these names up). The moon didn’t look any larger than usual to me, but it was shone so brightly that the details of the surface were clearly visible through a heavy cloudlayer. It was pretty fantastic.

Anyhow, I wasn’t able to get a clear picture of that, but I think some of the pictures I came out pretty nice anyway, if not in quite the way I wanted.

Breakfast Noir

IMG_0506

There was a blackout, it was the evening and I was fixing myself a snack by the light of my flashlight. I look down at my bowl of cereal sitting on the aluminum kitchen table, sitting next to the flashlight, illuminated from below and thought “Damn, this would be an awesome picture”

That’s real blood, by the way, but its okay because I had a nosebleed anyway. I suffer for my art.
